In AEP, courses include both traditional and ongoing, performance-based assessment depending on the nature of the course. In that sense, Academic Presentation Skills and Academic Writing Skills courses for freshman students are mostly based on qualitative and criterion-referenced assessment as they aim to develop mostly the productive skills. On the other hand, the courses offered to the Faculty of Management include traditional assessment like midterm and final exams as well as ongoing and qualitative assessment. All the courses have either in-class activities or mini presentations to increase student involvement in classes. Also, some of those courses include assignments to support ongoing process of assessment outside the class.
