Equivalence Table for English Language Exams Recognized by UTAA
* TOEFL IBT – Home Edition is accepted.
** “MyBest Scores” are accepted when evaluating TOEFL IBT results.
*** While the THKU Proficiency Exam is being evaluated, the students’ previous THKU English Proficiency Exam is also evaluated. The highest score from the components of the exams is accepted.
- Students who have completed at least last three years of their education at a higher or a secondary education institution in a foreign country where English is the native language will be exempt from the English Prep. Program providing they submit the related formal documents.
- In the condition that newly registered students and graduate/undergraduate transfer students attend the English Preparatory Program of other Universities at which medium of instruction at the related department is 100% English and they successfully pass the English Proficiency Exam of these Universities (at the beginning or after attending the Program), the students will be exempted from UTAA English Preparatory Program providing they submit the related formal documents.
